The role:

A client facing technical and administrative role in a lively team environment.

A can-do customer orientated attitude is required in order to complete monthly book-keeping, VAT and management information production, often to challenging deadlines. The role will also include ownership of a number of administration tasks including reception duties, letter preparation, filing and scanning.

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate an ability to positively contribute to a team environment and not be afraid to go the extra mile both for clients and colleagues.

2 years VAT return production experience

AAT/CIB qualified or PQ (or equivalent)

Ability to take the sole trader ‘shoe-box’ to trail balance

Ability to understand and analyse the profit and loss, balance sheet and key management information.

Integration Technical Team Leader, Teeside
Salary circa £40,000

Our client is a global leader in its field, catering for around 4,000 employees across a range of specialist businesses. They are looking to recruit a highly skilled Integration Technical Team Leader to further complement their existing successful team.

The role will report to the Global Infrastructure Leader for Application Hosting Services and will be responsible for managing lifecycle of multiple technologies under their Application Hosting umbrella.  

ie:
Oracle Middleware 10g/11g
Oracle Business Intelligence 10g/11g
IBM Websphere MQ6x/7x

Some duties and activities will include:

· Service request/development and engineering
· Inventory
· Capacity management (planning and forecasting)
· Input to and execution of technology roadmap
· Supplier and Vendor management
· License management
· Patches and upgrade to technology

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing external contractors/suppliers during project duration and be mentor to new team members as required.   In addition they will provide technical and management guidance and expertise for associated projects and operations teams.

Essential criteria:
- Qualified to degree level in an information technology related field and have a strong IT background. 
- Must be able to demonstrate people and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience or knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies/tools
