A new vacancy for an experienced Application Developer has arisen with a long established North East based business. The Application Developer role is responsible for the ongoing development of system applications, including analysis, design, enhancement and implementation.     

 

Technical development and application skills required include :

- Microsoft .net suite of products including C#.net and asp / asp .net

- Exposure / understanding of VB .net

- HTML / JavaScript / Cascading Style Sheets / PHP / Ajax 

- Xml / Xslt

- Jquery

- T-SQL

- WCF (Windows Communication Foundation)

- Visual Studio and Visual SourceSafe 

- Proficiency in Transact SQL, as well as familiarity of the SQL 2005 / 2008 R2 server application product, SQL integration services essential

SQL Server 2000 / 2005 / 2008 (R2) database architecture

- Thorough understanding of application interfaces

- Experience of source code management and code deployment   

- Good analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
