Job Description:

We are currently looking to recruita Area Sales Manager for a bespoke technical engineering company in Cramlington. The role will be selling across the UK and Europe.

Working as part of the sales team, your primary responsibilities will be to act as principle point of contact for customers within a specified territory and to provide an interface between sales and engineering.  Duties will include developing customer relationships, generation of sales opportunities and assisting on technical calls.  You will also be expected to manage, motivate and train the field sales representatives.

 Reporting to the sales and marketing manager, you will have a Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent, with a successful commercial background.  Ideally, you will have sales application experience in a customised product.

 You should have strong personal attributes including being highly determined, skilled in persuasive techniques and have the ability to work on your own initiative.  You will also possess excellent time management and organisational skills and be an excellent verbal and written communicator.
