SQA Engineer - 12 month contract

The main purpose of this role is to ensure that conformance to quality requirements is achieved by Draeger Safety’s Suppliers and the Supplier’s product.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

·    Control of product quality relating to externally supplied items
·    Key role in product improvement activities, both performance and cost
·    Updating of supplier quality questionnaires and reviews
·    Supplier audits
·    Reporting of supplier quality status
·    Maintain corrective action files
·    Control and report on supplier quality referrals

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·    Assertive with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
·    Good team player with problem solving skills
·    Self motivated with the ability to work without supervision

Credentials and Experience

·    Educated to degree level in a mechanical engineering discipline
·    Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
·    Experience in Quality auditing or Quality inspection processes
·    Full, clean UK Driving Licence
