Job Description:

Working for a well established engineering company based in Tyne and Wear as an Engineering Manager.

To manage a multi discipline team of design, analytical and specialist engineers.

To develop and manage a knowledge base of best practice designs, construction methodologies and procedures.

To develop the overall capability of the Engineering Group.

Develop/maintain the necessary business and engineering processes/procedures to ensure the competence of the engineering resources and the technical integrity of all work done.

Manage the workload between other geographically separate project centres as a centralised engineering function.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have/be -

A strong Engineering Management background.

Excellent Engineering knowledge.

Good communication and teamwork skills are beneficial.
