John Douglas Retires after 15 years with Solutions

 

 

Today marks the end of an era as our Senior Engineering Recruitment Consultant, John Douglas retires after 15 years with Solutions Recruitment.

 

Managing Director, Lee Andrews (pictured with John) comments:

 

"John has enjoyed an extremely successful 15 years with Solutions and has been a fine servant to the organisation in that time.

 

The consummate professional, John’s combination of a keen understanding of engineering/manufacturing industry gained from his time with British Engines and Wilkinson Sword, together with an unrivalled work ethic has ensured that John has remained at the very top of his game throughout his recruitment career.

 

A fine mentor and highly consistent provider of skilled personnel, his straight-talking style and dedication to the cause will be missed not only within our ranks, but, we are sure, by his many loyal clients here in the North East.

 

It has been an honour and a privilege to have worked alongside him.

 

You will be missed by your colleagues John, but never forgotten.

 

We will strive to match your exacting standards in all of our endeavours and wish you a happy, healthy and lengthy retirement."

 

John himself sent a heartfelt farewell to the team earlier today:

 

"Dear Colleagues. Thank you very much for the retirement presents, card and kind words. Very much appreciated. I have been a "very lucky Lad" in life. I have enjoyed my career in recruitment, "most of the time" and it has afforded me a very good standard of living. As we know a very competitive industry.I will always be grateful to Margaret Clare and Lee Andrews for giving me the opportunity to join Solutions Recruitment nearly 15 years ago. Lee " guided " me over the early years. I would like to take this opportunity to wish Solutions Recruitment Ltd continued success and i wish you all success, and happiness for the future."
